This May 2022 Calista celebrates the essential first year anniversary.
Since the company’s creation in 2021, we built a strong team of 8 professionals, most of whom are focused on “dealmaking”, all with diverse backgrounds, complementary skills, a converging mindset of entrepreneurship and committed to excellence. This is what we pride ourselves the most on.
We started building a powerful, goodwill-based community of investors and entrepreneurs, with similar values. They are all outstanding people with unique history and track records. We sourced 300 investment opportunities, shortlisted 50 of them, and invested in 8, on behalf of Sourcing Club Members. We also partnered with 3 family-led investment firms and completed 10 Due Diligence Mandates and perform active monitoring on 6 investments, on behalf of our clients.
At this important juncture of our short history, we would like to announce that our Board welcomes Simone Retter as its latest and 6th Member. Simone has been advising high net worth families and entrepreneurs on the legal structuring of their wealth and investments for more than three decades, and her areas of expertise spread from corporate and tax law to civil law and estate planning matters. She is also a private investor and elegantly complements the current Board members who have extraordinary knowledge around private markets.
We are not shy to say that we are proud of our achievements to date and that we are aiming at delivering many more exceptional results in the year to come.
