Calista led the setup, launch and operational phase of a family-led SPV dedicated to Proptech. In September 2022, the family-backed investment initiative made its first investment in Evercam, a visualisation and collaboration platform for the construction industry. The total of €8m Series A funds will allow the company to strengthen its international expansion in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.
Evercam began as a solution for time-lapsing construction projects and has evolved into a powerful project management tool that has earned its place on some of the most significant projects in the world. The company benefits from a strong reputation in Ireland and the UK, and recently has successfully expanded to North America and Asia-Pacific. The team proved high management skills, perfect quality deliverables and dedication to scale up the business.
Evercam combines both the digital plan data (4D BIM) and the current reality (fixed position cameras, drone and 360° cameras) and turns it into actionable insights for the entire project team to improve communication, accountability and productivity. Evercam has tripled its number of employees in the past two years and now has 600+ projects live globally.
Alongside Calista, the round was led by Richard Hayes, Eoghan Quigley, with follow-on investment from Swisspost Ventures and Elkstone Partners.
