On the 29th of September, Calista Direct Investors held a VIP Dinner with its board and closely knit Family Offices as well as selected PE investors.

The evening started with a cocktail at Cercle Munster Library, where our guests could meet each other. This pre-dinner time gave our friends the time to talk to their old acquaintances and connect with new people.

Our Chairman, Serge de Ganay, opened the seated dinner part with his insightful views on PE and on how our founder, Rajaa Mekouar, captures the essence of what it means to help Family Offices invest in this growing asset class by partnering with them.

The seated dinner included the discussion of three attractive themes:

  • Macro: The influence of macro trends on PE investing by Francis Bento, CEO & Founder of Divergent Investments
  • FoodTech: How and Why Our Eating Habits are being disrupted by Nadav Berger and Erich Sieber, Founders & Managing Directors of PeakBridge
  • Healthcare: MedTech and BioTech, the Latest News from the Ground by Dr. Stefan Larson Ph.D., Partner at Sectoral Asset Management

Mr. Norbert Becker surprised us when he wrapped the speaking part of the evening with his speech around what t takes to succeed for a firm like Calista

Passion - Patience - Execution.

Our guests then stayed to continue exciting conversations until midnight.

Calista was honoured to host such incredible professionals and role models in the sector and appreciated that people traveled from different continents to join the Calista team that memorable night.
